Welcome to Fundisa

The Fundisa Fund is an educational savings account that rewards savings efforts with a unique bonus. Every year your savings are enhanced by an additional 25% to a maximum of R600 per year. The bonus is added to your savings annually. The bonus has been made possible through a joint venture between Government and various ASISA member companies and is intended to help learners from low-income families pay for a quality, accredited qualification at either a public college or a university. As from 1 March 2013 a means test of an annual household income of R180 000 or less will apply to the families of all learners who are made beneficiaries of a Fundisa Fund account. This means that anyone can open a Fundisa account, but the learner who benefits from the investment must come from a family that does not earn more than R180 000 a year.
